From Capitalist Dependant to Post-Capitalist Leader
The worlds social systems are all based very much upon the way resources, goods and products are being treated and traded. This concludes, that the ongoing crisis of the financial sector – which was largely established to enable and manage the trading and creating of products – is as much a crisis of the way products and goods are being handled. Along with this come environmental problems and the energy crisis, resource conflicts and exploitation. As designers, we constantly work with a matter (products/goods) that is the reason for so many local and global, positive and negative developments in the past and present; yet we do not comprise the full scope in our daily business.
The crisis is all-embracing and where we, as mankind and as designers, are heading to is more uncertain than ever before. We will set out on a search for clues, traces and answers.
All students did a presentation and an essay in English, created an info graphic poster that explains their topic in poster session style. This way, they learn a method to approach a topic from many ways and perspectives.
