This field trip with my Master project The Flood of Things took us to New York City. We’ve visited the city for about two weeks in May 2014. Our program included visiting the icff (international contemporary furniture fair) and its side events, design studios and companies (TODA, byAMT, FormNation, Daniel Michalik, kikkerland), schools (Parsons The New School, Cooper Union, Columbia University, Pratt Institute), archives (American Museum of Natural History, New York Public Library) and museums (MmuseumM, Museum of Art and Design, Center for Architecture, MoMA, PS1).
